Tessa + Darren
Planning and styling Tessa & Darren’s country engagement party had been a pleasure and it was just weeks after that they asked us to plan their wedding. Double honour!
With MOB (mother of the bride) as our primary liaison, we had a professional love triangle relationship. Our mutual goal was to give Tessa the fairytale wedding that she had dreamed of since a little girl.
Held at the incredible MontsalvatArts Centre – an artist colony in Eltham, Victoria, established in 1934 by painter Justus Jorgensen – Tessa & Darren’s celebration was lavish, whimsical and romantic.
Cobblestone corridors and tiny doorways, wandering peacocks, iron candelabras and richly coloured artworks adorning every wall. This wondrous place easily transports it’s guests to another time.
Tessa & Darren were married in the gallery in front of stunning leadlight windows and a dreamy floral installation, their reception took place downstairs in the Great Hall where guests were treated to a sumptuous feast.
Velvet Chesterville lounges, along with a gold-rimmed coffee cart serving espresso martinis, housed in the open courtyard the Great Hall. The perfect setting for guests to further bask in the rich creative history of this breathtaking atmosphere throughout the night.
A truly magical wedding. Congratulations Tessa & Darren!
