THE LOCATION The Alto, Royal Botanic Gardens

THE COUPLE With Neha and Nitish living in London this beautiful Indian wedding was planned completely remotely, lots of zoom calls, late night planning and whatsapp texts but with the help of Neha’s gorgeous mother who lives in Melbourne this Hindu celebration was nothing short of a fairytale.

THE LOOK, THE FEEL, THE VIBE

A modern romance, feminine and elegant.

Taking place during a Melbourne heatwave (reaching 39 degrees) this magical celebration of love took over The Alto Marquee. Nitish’s Baraat made their way through the gardens down to the Mandap and despite the heat the vibes were high with some very stylish outfits and even more stylish dance moves. Married under a Mandap draped in a soft pink fabric, an abundance of blooms and a picturesque backdrop of the gardens this traditional Hindu ceremony was just perfection. Guests made their way to the deck for bubbles and canapes looking over the lake before heading into the reception. An elegant and soft interior draped in blush linen with tulle, pearl and timeless crystal details. And of course a huge dance floor for when things heated up later in the evening!
