Layla & Anthony
Weddings
THE COUPLE It was actually a friend of Layla’s mum who told her she’d found her the perfect match for Layla but a chance meeting in a bar 6 weeks later, Layla met this same perfect match all on her own. All whilst Anthony was telling his dad about this amazing woman he’d met with roots to Southern Italy and a Nonno who had a business crafting fine Italian sweets who also used also to run reception centres way back when… it was discovered that Layla’s Nonno had in fact hosted Anthony’s parents wedding 45 years earlier at one of his venue’s. These family ties were just meant to be!
THE LOOK THE FEEL THE VIBE Their beautiful ceremony took place at the historic St Patricks Cathedral. Layla’s J’Aton Couture silk cape and her hand beaded gown graced the aisle for the most stunning entrance, sheer perfection.
The dining experience at the Glasshouse followed, a complete transformation from event space to ‘dining destination’. Sophisticated, luxurious, classy, modern, stylish and intimate. A seamless blend of restaurant and those elegant wedding vibes. Creamy boucle dining chairs, blush pink velvet banquettes, marble table tops, gold cutlery, crisp white linen, velvet napkins, specialty glassware. No details were missed in making this guest experience one to remember.
Drinking French champagne and dining on Italian classics, guests were surprised with a feature interval show stopper performance from Sally Cooper followed by a whisky bar and espresso martini’s which kept them dancing till midnight beneath a tassel and pendant installation.
This was a WOW wedding from start to finish.
