JESSICA & KYLE
WEDDING CONCEPT DESIGN & EVENT STYLING
THE LOOK, THE FEEL, THE VIBE
Jess came to us with a very clear vision for her wedding day. She wanted it to feel elegant, timeless, memorable, romantic and fun — and our role was to take that vision and bring it to life at the beautiful Stones of the Yarra Valley.
Their Chapel ceremony was filled with candlelight and an abundance of blooms arranged in beautiful urns, classic piano notes filling the space.
Adding a personal touch, the family huskies made a very special appearance, dressed in their Gucci scarves and floral collars.
The bridal party made their way down the chapel aisle to The Blessing, creating an incredibly powerful and emotional moment that brought family and friends together as one and when Jess appeared in her breathtaking Steven Khalil gown, she was an absolute vision.
For the reception, the mood shifted into something sophisticated, luxurious, modern and intimate. Guests entered through dramatic chocolate satin draping into a space illuminated by an abundance of candlelight, a custom ceiling installation layered with chocolate satin draping and crystal chandeliers hung specifically over the central bridal table.
The dining tables were beautifully layered with ivory linen, feature embossed charger plates with delicate ivory lace detailing, cut crystal glassware, gold cutlery and elegant candelabras. Each place setting was completed with a custom-designed personalised menu, beautifully presented in an envelope with a handwritten note from Jess and Kyle — a thoughtful detail that made every guest feel incredibly special.
But it was time to celebrate.
Jess’s bridesmaids kicked things off with a choreographed dance, followed by the groomsmen — an energetic, fun and fabulous entrance that set the tone for the night. Then came Jess and Kyle, entering to the electric sounds of Evangeline on violin, with Jess making this entrance in her second look: a stunning Georgia Young Couture gown.
Once the formalities were complete, the celebration moved into a deeply meaningful and symbolic moment. Jess’s family performed the traditional lighting of the brass lamp, a significant Sri Lankan ritual symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the welcoming of wisdom, light and new beginnings and alongside this ceremony, a traditional Sri Lankan dance troupe filled the room with vibrant drumming and energetic dancing. Jess, now in her third and final look — a beautiful traditional Mandalay dress — took to the dance floor as saxophone and violin set the scene for an unforgettable night of celebration.
From the first candle lit in the chapel to the final sparkler and fireworks, no detail was missed. Every element was designed not only to reflect Jess and Kyle, but to create an extraordinary experience for the people they love most.
A celebration filled with beauty, tradition, energy, romance, emotion and plenty of fun — and one their guests will remember for years to come… and exactly as Jess had envisioned.
