COMPLETE EVENT PLANNING, CONCEPT DESIGN & STYLING

This end of year event was well and truly taken to the next level, inspired by its venue; the NGV. A highbrow, contemporary transformation, as inspired by art itself. Sculptural floral in decadent tones, a seafood station with ice statues – everything about this night was elevated. A harpist played to welcome guests into a candlelit Federation Court. Negronis and martinis were sipped on arrival.

As the party moved into the Great Hall, a u-shaped Bar was revealed, complete with floral and suspended lighting installation above. Guests were treated to a night of theatrics with an electric strings quartet taking the stage. Music progressed to a DJ set, followed by a performance of a different kind – eton mess was created before their very eyes, dessert was served with artistic flair.

And how better to the refinement of a gallery when your kids have a gallery of their own? We created a world within a world, the magical land of Dr Suess for the kids to have their own party. Complete with truffola trees, the Lorax and Cat in the Hat.  We designed an immersive space inspired by the books of Dr Suess. The fun-filled kids zone featured balloonists, face painting, nail art, games, a library lawn and even a mini cinema. Bright, bold primary colours met with illustrative elements and beanbags galore.
