When two family-focused Italian twins celebrated their milestone birthdays, we transformed this lakeside venue, The Terrace, into a vibrant Italian piazza.
Guests were welcomed by waiters in Italian fedoras and cocktails served from a classic Italian Vespa before indulging in a feast of authentic Italian flavours. A live pasta station featured cheese-wheel and vodka pastas, while a chef sliced prosciutto to order and served burrata, olives, and an abundance of Italian delicacies. They didn’t even realise the boys weren’t in attendance, until…
…in true Italian style, an accordion and Italian tunes began to play and the twins made a surprise arrival by gondola while guests cheered, sang and welcomed them with big loving hearts.
Abundance was the theme for this event with long famiglia-style tables styled with rustic Italian charm and a menu that would feed a village… or three, a 10-piece live band with the sounds of accordion, tarantella and Italian classics, an appearance from Signora Maria Pappagallo who had everyone in stitches, a live caricaturist and tableside tiramisu service provided the perfect sweet finale to a celebration that embraced the passion, generosity, and spirit of Italian family traditions!
