High school sweethearts who reconnected after graduation, Stef and D-Jay have been inseparable since they were 18. Lovers of food, family and simple joys like movie nights and late-night ice cream runs, their relationship is rooted in warmth and togetherness – and their wedding day reflected exactly that.

After a heartfelt ceremony at St Anthony’s Hawthorn, guests were welcomed into Vue de Monde, where the celebration unfolded high above Melbourne’s skyline. Their brief: a reception that felt modern, romantic and intimate, yet still full of atmosphere.

We created a monochrome palette layered with texture – sleek black accents, deep burgundy tones, silver details, sculptural florals and abundant candlelight. Velvet finishes and contemporary table settings added depth and elegance, while the twinkling with lights beyond set a breathtaking backdrop.

From refined dining to heartfelt speeches and finally, a vibrant dance floor that carried late into the light. Every detail wove together a celebration that was stylish, sophisticated, and above all, deeply personal. For Stef and D-Jay, it was the perfect reflection of who they are: grounded, joyful, and full of love.
