THE LOOK THE FEEL THE VIBE
For die-hard footy fans Veronica and Jimmy, there was no place more meaningful to celebrate their love than the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The couple treated their guests to an intimate ceremony in the exclusive Members Only Long Room, where a golden arbour adorned with stunning florals created a breathtaking focal point against the Long Rooms rich history.
As the sun set over the MCG’s sacred turf, guests moved into a luxe reception dining space with sweeping views of the MCG, no footy on this night but the game day passion was there!
Moody elegance — rich velvets in burgundy and black, accented with gold detailing, set the tone for a sophisticated evening. Towering floral arrangements added drama, while velvet bows offered a romantic touch.
Seven sparkling crystal chandeliers lit the space with a warm, opulent sparkle — a detail that captured Veronica’s signature style perfectly. With heartfelt speeches, fine dining, and a dance floor buzzing with energy and tunes from Andrew Loadsman, the night was a glamorous celebration of love, passion and romance.

“Words really do not justice for how amazing the girls are at Lettuce and Co. They had a tough brief
– two people who are not creative with very different tastes – one who loves all things sparkle and colour and the other who’s “colour” spectrum is literally black and white.
What they were able to create in a space they had never decorated before was nothing short of breathtaking. We both walked in to our reception with tears in our eyes seeing everything we had spoken about over the months come together beautifully. All of our guests were equally blown away by the level of detail from the stationary down to the wrapping up of the flowers for guests to take home at the end of the evening. We will definitely be working with them in the future, perhaps for our combined 40ths in a couple years time!
